I believe that acting is the ultimate search for truth and connection, at least that’s what I’m trying to do.
After graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts I spent many years strutting my stuff on the boards in New York City in theaters like Rattlestick, Primary Stages, and The Kirk Douglas. I’m honored to be a member of the Obie Award winning theater company Partial Comfort Productions and of Ensemble Studio Theater/LA.
With a desire to wear flip-flops year round and a goal to embody a strong yet flawed woman who is funny because she’s authentic and sexy because she’s vulnerable on TV (if Lisa Edelstein, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Jennifer Beals had a love child), I drove across country and set up shop in LA.
I’m also a Life Coach who owns the fact that she’s a work-in-progress herself. My work as a coach directly affects my work as an artist and vise versa. It’s all about being a great listener, fully present with others, and generous with your heart (three things at which I excel).
Also, I’ve had the pleasure of rockin’ the microphone many times over the years as a voiceover artist selling everything from Lawn Furniture to Ralph Lauren.
This quote is written in big letters on a blackboard in my office...
It’s a constant reminder to me of how much joy lives in this lifestyle I’ve chosen because it comes with a lot of uncertainty. One thing I know for sure is that this is the work I’m meant to be doing and I love the magic that happens every time I find my next creative collaborators.
Who knows, maybe it’s you?
